This site (www.passwordlessalliance.org) is owned by the Passwordless Alliance and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. All copyrights, trademarks, and other proprietary rights are reserved to the Passwordless Alliance and its licensors.

3. Use of Passwordless Alliance Information

Passwordless Alliance authorizes you to download or copy the information provided that you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the original materials on any copies. 5. Membership Structure and Enrollment Process

  1. Service Members
    • Eligibility: Individuals or organizations operating online services with responsibility for user protection.
    • Role: Apply Passwordless X1280 software to public online services.
    • Duties: Request passwordless certification review, share advertising revenue.
    • Enrollment Process: All members must first enroll as Service Members by submitting an application form and receiving approval.
    • Service Levels: Service Members are operated under a single tier, but annual fees vary by the economic level of the country where the service is operated (AEs, EMs, LDCs). Please refer to the website for specific fees.
      • S-Basic: Free use of Passwordless X1280 software, access to educational materials, license validity 1-5 years.
      • S-Advance: Includes Basic benefits, revenue sharing, discounts on on/offline training, push notification services.
      • S-Principle: Includes Advance benefits, enhanced push notification services.
  2. Trust Members
    • Eligibility: Recognized associations, government agencies, or organizations that have established international technical standards.
    • Role: Promote passwordless adoption in the region, review and approve online service certification.
    • Duties: Review service applications and issue license keys.
    • Levels:
      • T-Basic: Approve software license key issuance.
      • T-Advance: Includes Basic rights, revenue sharing, discounts on training, participate in online service certification reviews.
      • T-Principle: Includes Advance benefits, participation in Passwordless Alliance Steering.
  3. Education Members
    • Eligibility: Institutions with the facilities and capability to provide software training.
    • Role: Provide training on installing and applying Passwordless X1280 software.
  4. Tech Members
    • Eligibility: Development companies capable of applying Passwordless X1280 software to actual online services and obtaining certification.
    • Role: Install and integrate Passwordless X1280 in online services.
    • Duties: Provide manpower services, participate in the community forum.
    • Levels:
      • Tech-Basic: Register and view Tech member status on the Passwordless Alliance website, possess training certificates or experience in applying Passwordless X1280 and obtaining certification.
      • Tech-Advance: Includes Basic benefits, display company logo as Advance Tech Partner on the website, participate in community forum.
Tech-Principle: Includes Advance benefits, develop educational materials, create manuals, priority in participating in major Passwordless Alliance projects.

6. Member Forum and Membership Transition Process

  1. Purpose: Facilitate knowledge sharing and Q&A among members.
  2. Access: Only approved members can access.
  3. Advance Tech Member Promotion: Tech Members can be promoted based on their contributions to the forum.
  4. Transition Process: Service Members can transition to Tech Members, Education Members, or Trust Members through the inquiry function on the Passwordless website.

7. Limitation of Liability

  1. Information Inaccuracy: Alliance is not liable for any damages caused by inaccurate information provided.
  2. Forum Content Inaccuracy: Alliance is not liable for any damages resulting from inaccurate content posted by members on the forum.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Passwordless Alliance makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property.
